Artist’s Statement: I believe life is art – the details, impressions, moods, colors, shadows and light are there around us all the time but it’s the awareness that makes the magic happen. That’s why art is so subjective and universal at the same time. As an artist I just try to express and interpret those things. That interaction between mind heart and the outward world is compelling and personal to me as it is to every person but truly wonderful if we can share it. Art spills into everything I do, a natural consequence of my life view. In recent years my medium of focus has been watercolor. I am a member of Oregon Society of Artists and participate in Washington County Open Studio each year.
