The 2022 Tour will be going ahead. The registration fees will be the same as last year, $125 for artist registrations, $300 for gallery registrations, $500 for studio collectives.
Artist registration for the 2022 Open Studios Tour will be from May 15 2022 to June 7 2022. The application process will change slightly this year to make it a two step process. Artists must complete an application form and submit photos by June 7. Applications are reviewed and if approved you will be asked to make an online payment to complete your registration. The number of artists and galleries will be limited to 60. If we have more than 60 applicants these factors will be taken into consideration – whether the artist is actively volunteering, whether the photos meet the guidelines, order in which a correctly completed application and acceptable photos are received. We will not attempt to rank artists by artistic merit.
To prepare for your application you will need three photos of your artwork which meet our photo guidelines. The application form will ask for an artist statement of 750 characters or less written in the first person. It will also ask for an artistic summary, which is up to 60 characters in length. and is used on the online map.
