Open Studios will be go ahead in 2024 with a few leadership changes. Chris Goldthorpe is stepping down as chairman effective 1/31/2024 after leading the organization through the last three Open Studio tours. Chris will remain on the board and continue to be webmaster. Co chair Kimberly Ghaemmaghami will also be stepping down as co-chair while remaining on the board.
Anny Sears has been nominated to be the next chair and has the full support of the board.
We took a survey of the artists to see how many visitors they had and how they found out about the tour. The results were positive – the average number of visitors to each studio was up by 15%. The highlights are below. The complete summary including comments on what went well or could be improved can be found here .
Open studios 2023 starts today October 21, from 10am to 5pm. Open studios is two days only so be sure not to miss out.
